Instagram ads for local businesses: how to turn views into bookings
The five parts every local Instagram campaign needs, and where most of them break.
Eight things every page behind an ad should have, in the order a visitor needs them.

You pay for every click on an ad. What happens next decides whether that money comes back. A landing page is a single page with a single job: turn the visitor from that ad into a lead or a booking. Here is what a good one contains.
If the ad promised a first-visit special, the page headline should say exactly that. Any gap between ad and page makes people wonder if they are in the right place.
Book, call or fill in the form. Pick one main action and repeat it down the page. Remove the navigation menu. Every extra link is an exit.
On a phone, the offer and the button should be on screen without scrolling.
Real reviews, real photos of your work and any credentials that matter in your field. People believe other customers more than they believe you.
What exactly do I get? What does it cost? How long does it take? Where are you? Is there a catch? If the page does not answer these, the visitor leaves to find out, and rarely returns.
Ask only for what you need to follow up. Every extra field loses people. If your service can be booked directly, put the calendar on the page so the visitor can finish in one visit.
Most ad traffic is on mobile data. Compress images, skip heavy effects and test the page on a real phone.
Install your Meta pixel and Google tag and record each form submission and booking as a conversion. Without this, the ad platforms cannot learn which clicks were worth paying for.
The page is only half the job. A text within minutes of a form submission, and reminders before the appointment, are what get the customer through the door. More on that in why fast follow-up beats a bigger budget.
